I’ve just installed php, and:
http://192.168.2.101:8080/ returns the content within C:\Program Files
\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\index.html i.e. the
default, the php file does not display anything on Mozilla

http://192.168.2.101:8080/test.php - does not display the contents of
test.php.

test.php
<html>
<head>
<title>PHP Test</title>
</head>
<body>
<p>This is an HTML line
<?php
echo <p>This is a PHP line</p>;
phpinfo();
?>
</body>
</html>

Any idea why pls?

Seems like PHP was not set up properly. I suggest making use of a Windows WAMP setup, where you install one software, and gets u up ready in no time. What does a .php file with just phpinfo(); return?
